Alternative Services & Beyond:Self-Determination Program
The Self-Determination Program (SDP) was expanded statewide as of July 1.Those enrolled in SDP choose their preferred services and supports, whichcan be delivered remotely, in-person or in the community based on theindividual’s needs. Providers may find the individualization and flexibility ofalternative services to be a useful model for offering SDP options. SDPservices have different funding and billing processes from standard regionalcenter services.
