Community Support Options, Inc. (CSO) is a private nonprofit corporation that serves and supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Kern County. We provide a variety of services focused on helping those we serve overcome obstacles, achieve personal goals, and engage with their local community. The types of services offered by Community Support Options include day program, residential, supported living, work program, transportation, and social skills. We have facilities in Bakersfield, Shafter, Tehachapi, and Wasco and serve and support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Kern County. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to pursue their personal goals and dreams and has the right to be treated with dignity and respect.
