The Master Individualized Education Program (IEP)
Building Blocks to a Successful IEP
The Master Individualized Education Program (IEP) class is designed to provide in-depth training and guidance on creating effective IEPs for students with diverse learning needs. This course covers important topics such as understanding the IEP process, setting appropriate goals and objectives, implementing accommodations and modifications, fostering collaboration with parents and professionals, and ensuring compliance with special education laws and regulations.
The Intersectionality Of The ASD and LGBTQIA+
Participants will explore the complex challenges faced by transgender and LGBTQ+ individuals, including discrimination, minority stress, access to healthcare, and intersectionality with other identities. The course instructs on applying ABA principles for supportive client interactions through individualized assessments and culturally sensitive intervention plans. Techniques for building trust, rapport, and collaboration with other professionals are highlighted to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
